Hello, I’m Stella.

Join me as I explore the flavors of Big Sky Country and beyond.

I’ve always believed that food is more than just sustenance; it’s a bridge between cultures, histories, and people. With roots in Biotech and Computer Engineering, my path to the kitchen was anything but conventional. After years of teaching and writing about food, I fell in love with the rich culinary history of Billings, Montana, where I now call home.

From hosting my radio show, Flavors Under the Big Sky: Celebrating the Bounty of the Region, to writing books that capture the region’s evolving food scene, my mission is to share the flavors of this land and the stories that make it so special.
