“Flavors Under the Big Sky: Celebrating the Bounty of the Region” is a monthly radio show on Yellowstone Public Radio that brings the rich food culture of Montana and the surrounding region to life. Hosted by Stella Fong, the program features engaging interviews with the people who make our local food scene so vibrant. From chefs and bakers to farmers, ranchers, winemakers, and distillers, each episode explores the stories behind the people who shape the flavors of our region.
Awarded the 2022 E. B. Craney Non-Commercial Radio Program of the Year by the Montana Broadcaster’s Association, and nominated for the 2022 International Association of Culinary Professionals Media Awards, “Flavors Under the Big Sky” has become a go-to source for those passionate about food and the people who produce it. In 2021, the show’s episode “Yellowstone Valley Food Hub – Feeding the Local Community from the Dirt” was a finalist for Non-Commercial Radio Program of the Year.
